1.79 lakh visitors throng Lalbagh flower show on I-Day

On Friday, Lalbagh visited the independence day flower show held at the Botanic Garden by bringing 85 lakh revenue to the Human Horticulture Department of 1,79,090.
The flower show was organized around the theme of ‘Veera rani Kittur Chennamma and Crantivira Sangolli Rayanna’. It was opened on August 7 and will end on August 17th.
Since its opening, the demonstration had the highest participation on the occasion of independence day. M. Jagadeesh, the Parks and Gardens of the Bahçelik Department, visited the show of 1.45 Lakh adults, 13,720 children and 19,650 school students on Friday.
Kittur Castle’s flower copy, Chennamma and Rayanna’s horse -mounted statues and other monuments from the Kittur Kingdom were the main attraction centers.
