10 Delhi schools receive bomb threat, police and bomb disposal squad deployed

At least ten schools in the national capital, including three schools in South Delhi, received bomb threat calls on Monday morning, PTI reported citing Delhi Fire Services (DFS). All threatening calls were received between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., triggering a massive security movement.
While fire brigades, police and bomb detection and disposal teams arrived at the scene, large-scale search efforts continue. Authorities evacuated the school building as a precaution.
According to the information provided by DFS officials, emergency calls came from many educational institutions in different parts of the city, and then fire brigade and bomb disposal teams were dispatched to the area.
“Total 10 schools received bomb threats today. Firefighters reached the building immediately. Checks are ongoing,” a DFS official told PTI.
