USA-Venezuela News: Days after a military operation in Venezuela that resulted in the capture of Nicolás Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores, US President Donald Trump defended the action on Tuesday (IST), calling it an “incredible military success.” Speaking about the operation, Trump praised the tactical precision of US forces. He also described how US forces carried out the operation.

Speaking about the US operation in Venezuela, Trump emphasized that the plan was complex and there were many personnel on the field.

US President Trump said, “It was an incredible military feat that happened. Think about it. An incredible military accomplishment. People say thank you. You know, people say it went down with one of the most incredible ones. It was very complicated. 152 planes. We had a lot of boots on the ground. But it was great. And think about it. No one was killed. A lot of people were killed on the other side. Unfortunately, I say this to the soldiers, mostly Cubans, but Many, many people died. They knew we were coming and they were protected. Our guys were jumping out of the helicopters, but it was so amazing.”

Giving details about the military operation, Trump said that almost the entire country’s electricity was cut off during the operation.

“Pretty much the entire country had its power out, boom. That’s when they knew there was a problem. There was no electricity. The only people with lights were people with candles. It was just turned off. So we surprised them a little bit. Tactically it was perfect…” the President added.

“And what they’re doing now is, the radical left actually has people. And they’re hard to get. They’re all paid people. A lot of these people are paid. You know, they get paid when they have brand new, beautiful, printed signs by the highest quality printer. And you have a woman, free Maduro. And the sign before we even carry out the attack. Free Maduro, why do you want her released? I don’t know,” Trump said.

The US President continued: “The United States has proven once again that we have the strongest, most lethal, most advanced and most fearsome military on planet Earth, and it’s not even close. You know, I’ve been saying this for a long time. No one can take us. No one could do this. No one has our weapons. No one has the quality of our weapons.”
