‘Slip and slide’: Lady Gaga dancer takes tumble off stage in pouring rain

Lady Gaga was forced to pause her show in Sydney after a dancer fell off stage due to heavy rain.

While performing the second night of the Sydney leg of her worldwide Mayhem Ball tour at Accor Stadium on Saturday night, the Illness singer was forced to stop the concert in its tracks after one of her dancers fell off the stage.

“Stop, stop,” Lady Gaga said as the dancer slipped off the stage and fell to the ground.

“We had an accident on stage.”

Taking a break from the show for about five minutes, the crowd cheered as the dancers stood motionless on stage and waited for everything to clear.

A dancer at Lady Gaga’s live show appeared to be in good shape after walking on stage after falling.

Lady Gaga jumped off the stage to help the injured dancer.

“Are you ok?” Lady Gaga asked through her pants as the dancer stood up again.

Silence filled the arena as dancers were provided with additional grips on their shoes to prevent further falls during the performance.

When Lady Gaga finally took the stage, the crowd erupted in loud cheers and applause.

“Hey! I’m back,” he said as he took the stage once more to continue the show.

“Everybody tolerate the rain tonight,” he told the crowd.

“We do a lot of dancing here, so there’s slipping and sliding.”
