2 Additional Secretaries Appointed as Observers for VP Poll: EC
New Delhi: On Thursday, the Election Commission said that he appointed two additional secretaries working in the middle ministries as an observer for the 9 September Vice President. Survey Authority, Panchayati Raj Ministry of Additional Secretary Sushil Kumar Lohani and the Ministry of Finance Additional Secretary D ANANDAN as an observer, he said.
Nitin Kumar Shivdas Khade, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Rural Development, was included in the reserve list of the Land Resources Department.
PICK CP Radhakrishnan is withdrawn against the opposition candidate B Sudarshan Reddy.
EC said he used his constitutional forces to appoint two observers.
