Ayushmann Kurrana was invited by the Academy of Cinema Arts and Sciences this year. Kurrana joined Kamal Haasan, Naomi Ackie, Gillian Anderson, Branford Marsalis, Conan O’Brien, Jimmy Kimmel, Stephen Graham, Jodie Comer and Jason Momooa among the 534 people invited to participate in the academy on June 26th.

How can a person be a member of the academy?
The Cinema Academy of Film Arts and Sciences invited distinguished artists from around the world for their contribution to moving paintings and cinema. According to the statement made by the Academy, the membership process for 19 branches and a membership classification is carried out by sponsorship, not by application. Apart from the partners, the candidates should be supported by two academy members from the branch or category where the candidate is looking for. In addition, the academy prize candidates are automatically evaluated for membership in the year they are nominated and required to sponsor.
Candidates for reviewing branch enforcement committees and membership proposals are taken into consideration and approved by the Academy Board of Directors. The joint membership is expanded only through the Membership Committee and the Board of Directors in the honor of commitment to the Academy and the Film Industry. The election of membership is based on professional qualifications with a commitment that remains as a priority in representation, inclusion and self -equity.
