26/11 Mumbai attack: Delhi court grants NIA time to respond to Tahawwur Rana’s plea

On Tuesday, a Delhi Court accused Tawwur Hussain Rana of regular telephone talks with his family to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) with a defense opened by the 26/11 Mumbai terrorist attack.

Special Judge Chand Jit Singh released the issue on 25 July.

On Tuesday, the judicial assistant advisor, Piyuh Sachdev, appeared for Rana during internal operations.
In the meantime, the court allowed Rana to appeal for a bed and bed in prison on the grounds that Rana was over 64 years of age and suffered from some medical disorders.

Prison officials, Rana’s rules, only 65 -year -old prisoners had objected to the prisoners that they had foreseen beds.


NIA also reported to the court that Rana has provided her full medical history to prison officials. On July 9, the court extended the defendant’s judicial custody until August 13th. Rana is a close partner of David Coleman Headley Alias Daood Gilani, a 26/11 main conspirator who is a US citizen. He was brought to India after rejecting the US Supreme Court’s return to India on 4 April.

On November 26, 2008, 10 Pakistani terrorists conducted a coordinated attack on a train station, two luxury hotels and a Jewish centers after secretly entered India’s financial capital by sea.

A total of 166 people died in a 60 -hour attack.
