2,708 Assistant Professors to be recruited to Government Arts and Science Colleges

Tamil Nadu government has decided to recruit 2,708 Assistant Professors for various Government Arts and Science Colleges in the state. Statement from Minister of Higher Education Govi. Chezhiaan stated that recruitment to these positions will be made through the Teacher Recruitment Board. In the past four years, 37 new colleges were opened and this year alone, 16 new colleges were established with an additional intake of 15,000 students, necessitating the recruitment of teachers.
