3 former BJP, AGP MLAs join Congress ahead of Assam Assembly polls

Three old mla, Satyabrat quality, gambling Sagia and Dr. Manas Singh Rongpi, Congress Secretary General KC Venugopal, Lok Sabha Gaurav Gogoi Congress Deputy leader and others in others, on September 20, participate in the National Congress of India in the New Delhi:
Two of the Assams attended the congress on Monday, September 8, 2025 on Monday, one of the two of them from BJP and one of them from BJP and one ally asom Ghana Parishad (AGP).
Former Bjp Mlas Bina Sagia and Dr. Mansingh Rongpi and AGP MLA Satyabrata quality, Assem Congress Chief Gaurav Gogoi, including senior leaders entered the party.
Both Mr. Saikia and Mr. Rongpi were in the Congress before changing BJP.
The Congress described his return as an important development before the elections of the 2026 Assembly in Assam.
Venugopal said, “The people of Assam Himanta Biswa Sharma Pvt. Ltd. Ltd. Ltd.
“People will wholeheartedly support the congress in the upcoming parliamentary elections to restore pro -human governance based on the values of honesty, unity and justice,” he added.
