When Kaye left her job in 2020, she said there was about $ 37,000, but she didn’t have anything to fill her time.
“I didn’t know how I couldn’t do anything. The first few months was really hard and I wasn’t sure if I made the right decision, or he says.
“With this experience, I never looked back and I didn’t have a single regret about leaving.”
Kaye spent the next three years traveling around the world, including South Africa. In 2022, a pair of Instagram reached Kaye, where he asked his time, and shared his own experiences covered with a camper in a Toyota truck.

According to the documents reviewed by CNBC, Kaya bought Kaye All-in and a Toyota Tacoma truck for $ 42,934 after doing its own research.
Kaye took the truck in South Dakota and took her childhood house back to Wisconsin, where she sold it for $ 320,000.
In March 2023, Kaye went to Baja California, Mexico, where he spent time to regulate the necessary renewals to make the truck more livable.
Like “My Life ‘Plan Plan’. Most people plan such adventures for years.
“At that moment it was very encouraged, so I had to pause and solve things.”

When the truck was ready, Kaye decided to travel the Pan-American highway starting from Denver. The highway extends from the Gulf of Alaska, the Gulf of Prudhoe to Argentina.
“This is really an incredible way to travel because you determine your own speed and you can stay as much as you want if you find a beautiful and peaceful place.”
“But every travel mode has pros and cons, and the boundaries are too much bureaucracy and logistics. Especially when you are alone, you should find a balance that works for you, but in general, it is definitely one of the coolest adventures of my life.”
Kaye changed the truck bed in September 2023.

How does life look on the road
Kaye’s time on the road is divided between travel days and leisure days. On a travel day, he gets up early to destroy everything and secure the camper before starting a driving of five to seven hours. Kaye estimates that he spent an average of $ 556 per month and 453 dollars per month.
“The easiest part for me is to be comfortable in very small areas and I am completely satisfied. “I see so many large spaces in nature that I am really satisfied.”
When he reaches his goal, Kaye likes to stay for two to three nights before moving on to the next one. Since Kaye’s truck is not a bathroom, it uses a box toilet and a portable shower bag.
“I’m trying to organize everything in the truck and camp, so as it should be. It is a target on the second day to give power down.” Says.
Other expenses of Kaye include $ 96 per month for a mobile phone bill and $ 200 per month for Starlink internet. He also spent more than $ 6,000 for unique experiences such as a week -long diving trip on Galápagos Islands.
He does not regret selling the house where Kaye turns to travel around the world.

Kaye has been living in the truck for years, but the most challenging part says that it is still setting up and destroying the camper.
“Although it is very simple, it is one of the things you need to do every time, or he says. “If you are someone who makes your bed every time, this is not a problem, but if you are a person who does not, it sounds like a burden.”
Although Kaye still hasn’t finished traveling the Pan-American highway, it is considering selling the truck at the beginning of next year.
“One part of me just wants to get rid of it and continue and enter the next part of my life, but a bigger piece ‘No, maybe wait just because I want to see other places and just be calm’.” I just want to finish my adventure. I’m not tired of living in the camp and I’m tired of this lifestyle, but I’m tired of driving. “
Kaye went to more than 20 countries in Toyota Tacoma.

Kaye doesn’t know where to settle if it sells the truck, but it’s not likely to go back to the United States full time. If he buys another house in the United States, Kaye says that if he decides to rent, it would be an investment and a source of income.
He is currently thinking of a life in the south of France, Spain or Italy.
“Each has difficulties. For me, I can deal with the difficulties and circles that come with the difficulties and circles.
