Ex-Arsenal youth player Billy Vigar dies at 21 after brain injury

A former Arsenal youth player died on Saturday after a significant brain damage during a British league match.
During the game Billy Vigar, Wingate and Finchley, he collided with a concrete wall while trying to prevent a ball from being out of the game. Per espn.
He was placed in a 21 -year -old coma and was operated on Tuesday, hoping to help to heal. But the Vigar died of injuries on Thursday.

In 2017, Vigar joined the Arsenal Academy and signed a professional agreement with the club in 2022.
Arsenal said in a statement, “Everyone in Arsenal Billy Vigar, a former Academy graduate, was devastated.” He said. The club described it as “a strong and versatile forward.”

Isthmian League Premier Department, a semi -professional league played by Chichester City, announced that a moment of silence will be observed before all matches this weekend. Players in the league will wear black arm bands to honor Vigar.
