Opposition disrupts Kerala Assembly for second day over Sabarimala gold ‘theft’ allegations

The United Democratic Front (UDF) opposition, led by Congress, broke the trials at the Kerala Legislative Assembly on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 due to the gold theft allegedly at the Sabarimala Temple.
The opposition, which reflects the chaos witnessing on Monday, began to shout slogans and raise the banners as soon as the question clock started. Opposition leader VD SATESEAN reiterated UDF’s Devaswom Minister vn Vasavan’s request for resignation on the debate.

However, the request was welcomed by MB Rajesh, who claimed that both the Minister of Law P. Rajeve and the Minister of Parliament MB Rajesh, who claimed that the state government would want to discuss the issue.
They also pointed out to create a special investigation team (SIT) to investigate the allegations to the directive of the Supreme Court of Kerala, and accused the opposition to ın Losing beliefs in the judiciary.
Despite the protests, a Shamseer speaker continued the question clock and pushed the opposition legislators to launch the wells of the house.
The speaker then had to suspend the session after about 20 minutes and temporarily postpone the house. (EOM)
