6 Hurt as Lorry Rams RTC Bus in Suryapet

Nalgonda: At least six passengers were injured when a TGSRTC bus was hit from behind by a truck at Nemmikal locality of Athmakur (S) mandal of Suryapet district on Monday.

According to police, the TGSRTC bus was traveling from Suryapet to Thorrur when a truck traveling in the same direction hit the bus from behind. There were approximately 40 passengers on the plane at the time of the incident.

Atmakur (S) police arrived at the scene upon notification and took the injured passengers to the State Hospital by ambulance. None of the passengers suffered serious injuries.

The truck driver abandoned his vehicle and fled the scene after the accident.
