60 firefighters rush to major fire at derelict buildings in early hours | UK | News

A team of more than 60 firefighters were deployed to a series of derelict buildings in south-east London following the blaze.

Eight fire engines were called to tackle the blaze on Fraser Road in Bexley and fire crews confirmed that part of a building was indeed in flames.

The Brigade’s Control Office received the first call reporting the fire just before 3am and crews from various fire stations were dispatched to assist at the scene.
