A 70-year-old woman’s dramatic facelift results have left people online stunned.

Beverly Hills-based plastic surgeon Dr. Carl Truesdale took to TikTok last month to share his before and after clips She was describing a patient she worked on recently, and viewers couldn’t believe how different she looked after going under the knife.

The TikTok started with the unnamed woman speaking to the camera just before getting a facelift.

Holding back tears, he said: ‘I’m so happy, I’m so grateful. I am very excited.’

Then it hit her a month after surgery and couldn’t stop gushing over the results.

‘This is amazing, so amazing. “He said he would take 30 years off my life, and boy, he kept his promise,” he said.

‘When people ask me how old I am, I’ll say 40. ‘I went through the Truesdale time machine.’

Many viewers were amazed at how younger her facelift made her look and rushed to the comments section to share their thoughts.

‘This is the most natural facelift I’ve ever seen,’ one user wrote.

“Oh my god, it looks so natural,” agreed another.

‘Dr. Truesdale… You are a miracle God created!’ gushed someone else.

“I actually never knew you were 70,” a fourth comment read.

A fifth said: ‘If she dyed her hair a darker colour, she could easily be in her mid-40s.’

‘Now THIS is the plastic surgery look I can get behind. She looks incredible and so happy and doesn’t look fake or crazy at all. “Nice job,” praised a different viewer.

Dr Truesdale frequently shares her work on TikTok, where she has reached more than 157,000 followers.

According to its website, it focuses on ‘surgical and non-surgical solutions to rejuvenate, sculpt and restore natural beauty to your face, ears, eyes, nose, jawline and hairline.’

She had previously gone viral after giving her mother Linda, then 68, a ‘mommy makeover’ and documenting it on social media.

Over the course of almost a year, Linda underwent more than five procedures in which almost entire parts of her face and neck were ‘lifted’ as well as fat injected to add volume lost due to age.

For his first surgery in September 2023, Dr Truesdale trimmed off excess skin from her upper and lower eyelids and under her nose to create a more lifted appearance.

In her next operation, she performed an eyebrow lift, a complete face and neck lift, and also transferred fat from one area of ​​her body to the under-eye and cheek areas for a more youthful appearance.

Excited about her new look, Linda said: ‘I have to make sure I keep going. [this] and I have a positive attitude.

‘We’re all getting older, but at 68 I feel great. That’s what I felt inside – youth – and now I can see it on the outside.’

Her son added: ‘Most children add wrinkles to their mothers’ faces. I was able to take some away, which is really special.

‘She was already confident, she already had a beautiful personality, but I see that youth and strength returning to her. ‘It looks really great.’

After publicly announcing his mother’s transformation, Dr Truesdale admitted he had received some criticism for operating on a family member.

But he defended his decision to have his mother undergo facial surgery, saying: ‘A lot of people were saying my mother didn’t need surgery and I completely agree with that.

‘My philosophy about all plastic surgery outside of just the reconstructive work we do… [for people] feeling great about their appearance.

‘I had the ability to do this for my mother. So even though she doesn’t need to look younger, it does make her life better… it improves her quality of life, and we only have so much time to live, so we better be as happy as we can be.

‘I personally know probably ten surgeons who have done work on family members. You know… their mothers, their wives [but] There’s only one couple that I know of who do it quite publicly.’
