In July 2024, the program was expanded to all government -backed primary schools in rural areas. As of February this year, approximately 17.53 Lakh students at 34,987 schools took advantage of the program.

Tamil Nadu government received a total of 600.25 Crore for the program for 2025-26. Positive results: the increase in participation in children going to primary school, decrease in attention time and morbidity rates.

In addition, it led to a decrease of 63.2% in the adoption of hospitals among the children in the first classes in public schools and a decrease of 70.6% in serious diseases between December 2023 and December 2024.

During an assessment of the program, the State Planning Commission found that he developed food behavior in children, encouraged positive habits, increased socialization with other children, increasing the desire to go to school in the health of the child, and healing in the classroom studies and participation.
