Euston LIVE: Trains cancelled as passengers left stranded for hours | UK | News

A new statement, Network Rail’s West Coast South Route Director Gary Walsh said: “This afternoon (26 June) at 12:17, we respond to a low -speed train rail in Bletchley.

“For security reasons, all lines between Milton Keynes and Bletchley were temporarily closed and we worked quickly to reopen two of the four parts on the West Coast main line.

“Even though some trains run again, we expect this event to cause a significant deterioration on the journeys today, and we’re trying to recover the timeline as quickly as possible.

“We are very sorry for the passengers whose journeys are affected, and we urge people to check them before traveling at www.nationalalrail.co.uk.”
