From innovation to impact: Stirling’s best small businesses recognised at awards night

From young entrepreneurs to a family business recognized by the royal family, several local business owners, community members and dignity were recently gathered for the Small Business Awards Night of Sturing Business Association at Skeborough’s Rendezvous Hotel.

46 candidates celebrating their achievements and the importance of the city’s small businesses produced seven winners and five second.

Among the winners, Casey Bryden and Jillian Intini, the mother and daughter duo, who combined with Sun Bella, UV -resistant parasols and scarves with sun protection and even worn by Queen Camilla.

Sun Bella received the Best General Small Business Award, as well as the Innovation Award for its work.

The best Youth Award went to 16 -year -old local Lucas, who runs a male nail polish that won popularity with women.

Elevate Esthetics, the Cosmetic Leather Clinic of Scarborough, won the Pharmacy 777 Community Effect Award, and Green Magic Cleaning was recognized for excellence.

According to the city of Stirling, there are 24,905 enterprises in the region, small enterprises – defined as those who employ less than 20 people – 97 percent of the total constitutes a large way.

Christine Timboli, CEO of Stirling Business Association, said that the evening shows the extraordinary talent and community spirit in the business world.

“The success of this year’s awards emphasizes the power of the community spirit we are trying to achieve,” he said.

“If you are not yet a member, now it is the perfect time to join the SBA and to be a part of this live, supportive business world.”
