John Stapleton dies aged 79: Broadcaster passes away peacefully in hospital after battle with Parkinson’s disease
John Stapleton, the legend of broadcasting, died at the age of 79 after the fight against Parkinson’s disease with pneumonia.
During a remarkable TV career that has spread over twenty years, Stapleton made a presentation in programs such as Newsnight, Panorama and GMTV’s news time, and passed away in the hospital early this morning.
