New Delhi: At a high -profile meeting in China’s Qingdao, Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh chose to remain silent when it was time to sign a joint declaration with other members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). This only action opened a series of questions home.
The two-day meeting ended with a common statement-an unusual result for a multilateral summit. Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal then broke silence. He announced that the disputes between the member states stopped the statement.
