Kamala Harris gives lukewarm NYC mayor endorsement for Mamdani

Former Vice President Kamala Harris offered a warm approval for Zohran Mamdani, a candidate for New York Mayor, in a Monday interview.
Harris sat down for an interview with Rachel Maddow from MSNBC on Tuesday, a new book “107 Days”. Maddow emphasized a part of Harris’s book, which discusses the old VP, which he met and described with rising stars in the Democratic Party, discussing “Stars Project”.
Maddow asked Harris as a star that rises about his opinion on the socialist candidate and whether he supported him.

“Look, as far as I worried about, that democratic candidate and needs to be supported,” he began.
“Do you approve his candidacy?” Maddow put pressure.
“I support the Democrat in the race,” Harris said.
Harris said that Mamdani was not the only “star” in the Democratic Party and hopes people to pay attention to other races throughout the country.
“But I mean, there are people like Mobile, Alabama, Helena Moreno in New Orleans.
