Body found in search for missing teen girl as man arrested for murder | UK | News

The police arrested a man on suspicion of murder after the death of the young man who was thought to be a 17 -year -old lost girl. The Great Manchester Police (GMP) reported that the girl called Catherine was missing on Saturday.
The questions took officers to an address in Whalley Close at around 9.00 am on Sunday at around 9.00 am. A girl died at the scene and GMP said that her death was not yet clear. Officers believe that they are Catherine, but the official identity has not yet realized and its next relative is supported by expert officers.
A 55 -year -old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and the police were detained, but the detectives “follow a few investigation lines”.
Detective Chief Inspector Anna Barker said: “First, our thoughts are tragically lost, unfortunately with the family and friends of the young people who believe that Catherine is missing.
“Although we have a man in custody, our investigation team gives a clear idea and follows a few investigations.
“If the civil servants are conducting their investigations, if you have any concerns, please talk to an officer who will listen to you.
He continued: “We are trying to get all the answers we can make for the family of this young person who is in the foreground in the mind of the investigation team.”
“We are attractive to help us with our questions for anyone who may be in the Whalley Close area in the early hours of Saturday and Sunday morning.
“No matter how small, every piece of information helps us to create a clearer picture in this investigation.”
