South Coast Harvest Festival returns for 3rd year to Westport Fairgrounds. What to know

Get ready to rejoice in the new season.

The South Coast Harvest Festival returns to Westport for the third year to celebrate everything autumn and autumn.

Started in 2023 Westport Husband and Husband Couple Brian Peay and Michelle Sousa Peay, local garden design company Metamorphosis Design, the common owners of the festival are caused by both seasonality and community.

Sousa Peay said that the South Coast Harvest Festival to the Herald News in 2023 was a mixture of this event and the former Westport Harvest Festival, which ended in 2003.

Nostalgia may be the first draw, but now in its third year, this new festival has clearly become its new local tradition.

When and where will it be?

The South Coast Harvest Festival will be held at the last weekend of September Westport Fairground, 200 Pine Hill Road.

Festival dates Friday, September 26; Saturday, September 27; and Sunday, September 28.

A press release was founded in 2023 to celebrate the beauty, award and creativity of the Southcoast region in 2023. “Now in his third year, the festival continues to grow as a community tradition that must participate by emphasizing local talents, sellers, seasonal tastes and family -friendly entertainment.”

Festival Hours

Important points planned for this year’s South Coast Harvest Festival

This year’s South Coast Harvest Festival:

  • Garden screens designed by local landscapeists and designers will be illuminated in the evenings

  • Live music and entertainment

  • Drop-in line dance on Friday for dancers at all skill levels

  • Sugar apples, oyster cakes and everything between everything in a dozen craft food truck and beverage truck/cabins

  • A tradesman market with approximately 70 sellers

  • Professional pumpkin carving Richard Kaiser is one of the original artists of Jack-O-Lantern in Roger Williams Park Zoo.

  • A photo cabin and autumn themed photo opportunities in the fairgrounds

Community partners

The festival also partnership with local organizations. Mass Audubon will sell duck to support the annual duck derby donation collection. Other community partners will include: Westport River Watershed Alliance, Bristol County Agricultural High School, Pieces of Autism, Buttonwood Park Zoo, Gnome Surf and More.

Cost is $ 10 for adults and $ 5 for children aged 5 to 12 years. Children under 5 years of age enter free of charge.
