ED attaches immovable properties, bank accounts of late IAS officer Dyaneshwaran, his family members

Executive Directorate (ED), Chennai Zonal Office, Temporary immovable properties, fixed deposits (FDs) and bank accounts belonging to the late hours of a Dyaneshwaran, a Dyaneshwaran, Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer and family members belong to Crore.
In 2017, ED launched an investigation on the basis of a Fir/Charging page opened by the Chennai Central Investigation Bureau within the scope of the 1988 Corruption Law Law against Dyaneshwaran. In the Fir, it served as a public official of various capacities in the Tami Nadu government, while abusing the official position and exploited through corrupt and illegal assets that were very disproportionately known for its known income sources.
The wage page opened by the CBI on March 14, 2001 measures disproportionate assets held by Dyaneshwaran and his family in the late 7.34 Crore for the period between 11 July 1991 and 31 January 1996. The trial of this case is at an advanced stage.
ED investigation, former IAS officer, as a public official, family members, M/S Shilpi Grih Constructions and Dr. Dharmambal revealed that he had received several immovables and moving assets on behalf of Trust.
Accordingly, ED added 16 immovable properties of the 12 immovable property acquired by Dyaneshwaran and his family between 1991 and 1996. As in the date of acquisition, the value of 16 immovable property is approximately 1.7 Crore.
ED also added to FDS and bank accounts, which are operated by Dyaneshwaran’s family members and containing 86.24 lakh. Previously, on February 28, 2025, he made a search. A temporary order of commitment of this year dated March 27 was also given, where assets with 1.19 crore value were added here. ED, said in a statement, in this case, the acquisition value of all assets added to date is La 3.75 Crore, he said.
