I Don’t Let the Raider in Me Affect My Captaincy: Aslam Inamdar
Speaking only on a media day organized by Jiostar, the Captain of the Puneri Paltan Aslam Inamdar spoke about his balancing responsibilities as a raider and a captain, his philosophy under the head coach Ajay Thakur, and the Kamaraderie in the team founded through a strong Youth Academy.
Raider and Captain on Balancing:
Orum I don’t let the raiders inside me affect my captain. You should play according to what the game demands. I have been in this area for 15 years and I know my potential. Sometimes you have to step back for the team. Even if someone gets 200-250 points in a season and the team 8, 9 or 12.
In the philosophy of the team’s head coach Ajay Thakur:
“Improvement constantly; you cannot stay at a single level. There will be deficiencies and closed days. “We are training with Yuva Paltan and we have been together since 2021. We know that each other’s play is really good, both the mind and the body gives us confidence because we know who manages the pressure and who can come to the point in different situations.
