Massive explosion at Swindon industrial estate rattles homes as fireball is spotted from miles away: Residents warned to stay indoors

An explosion in an industrial zone in Swindon sent a large smoke clouds to the air, blocking nearby houses, and fired an intense fire on the field.
The locals reported that he had heard ‘aloud explosion’ before detecting the fire and one felt that he waved their homes.

The seven firefighters ran to the scene in Groundwell Industry ownership at 19.30 on Wednesday.

At 23:30, a spokesman confirmed that the response was backward and four crew members stayed at the scene.

A martial arts center on the property was home to a class when the explosion occurred and ‘shook’ its buildings.

At around 20.00, a police spokesman said: ‘We are currently dealing with a serious incident in Crompton Road, Groundwell Industrial Estate.

‘A large cord in place and the Cricklade road between Queensfield and Thamesdown Drive is now closed.
People who live nearby should stay inside, close all windows and avoid the industrial zone for their safety.
‘We are working to evacuate the close area of the industrial zone, but there is no need for housing housing to evacuate.’
