The billionaire president of the Premier Investments claimed to quit a series of jaws containing a Smiggle patros, who was expelled a year ago for serious abuse.

Solomon Lew said that John Cheston, CEO of Lovisa, now a chain of jewelry, is an ongoing investigation, encouraging the culture of drinking and gambling culture with staff and returning to drunk work.

Rebekah Giles, the legal representative of Cheston, rejected the allegations and claimed that they were motivated with the pain they abandoned Premier.

“To the extent that this last rent is about Mr. Cheston, he said only wrong,” he said.

In September 2024, Premier Investment Group fired Mr. Cheston three months after he gave the necessary notification that he had been headed for Lovisa.

The Premier’s subsidiary of the Just Group claimed that Mr. Cheston was “serious abuse ,, but he was not more specific until Thursday, when Premier announced his full -year earnings to journalists during his call to journalists.

“They were taking money for people to be at work, to do other things, not to work, and not to work and spend time to gamble with the personnel in the organization, Le said Lew.

This took place at the office hours and claimed that the head office staff would return to drunk work.

“People were tyranny, sexual harassment, etc., never reported, interferes with the CEO section of this (human resources) section and has a long list of status.”

Mr Lew said, “This has been going on for several years and I never knew it.”

Mr. Lew, who pressured whether another person other than Mr. Cheston was fired for abuse claiming, said he was not sure that others believed that others had left the company.

“Obviously, for a while, there are a few people who are no longer with the company, there are people dragged into this gang,” he said.

“If you were to ask me if these applications are today, I will say no.”

Mr. Lew said Premier did not pay more renewal after he fired Mr. Cheston and returned $ 5.2 million.

Ms. Giles said Mr. Cheston resigned 18 months ago and put the company behind him.

“The truth is that Mr. Cheston rejected Premier’s offer to lead a separate Smiggle business, and instead he resigned to accept the role of a CEO for another public retail company,” he said.

“This decision seems to be that the Premier could not pass.

“Mr. Cheston continued and the Premier should do the same.”

Smiggle, a chain of return to school, has 296 stores in Australia and about 80 central office staff.

Mr. Lew said that Smiggle is still not a permanent CEO because Premier is “very special” to find a backup.

Mr. Lew’s comments greatly overshadowed Premier’s 2024/25 earnings.
