Deep Tech startup Welkinrim raises ₹4.76 crore

Welkinrim, a deep -technology starting in advanced drone thrust subsystems, collected 4.76 Crore in his latest financing tour. Investment contains additional contributions from GSF to La 1.5 Crore and AC Ventures (La 0.5 Crore) and Tattoo Innovation and initiatives (La 0.4 Crore) from the GSF, Campus Angels Network.

Incubated in the IT-MADRAS incubation cell, Welkinrim focuses on the development of new generation engines and electronic speed controllers (ESC)-two critical components within the electrical drive system of a drone. Motors and ESCs are designed for OEM customers in the UAV sector, including manufacturers of defense, surveillance, agriculture and logistics drones.

Start, high -performance drone motors and ESCs will use funds to expand their in -house production capabilities and product verification with Indian Drone OEMs in Defense and Commercial Segments. Funds will also be used to strengthen the core engineering team and to invest in advanced test infrastructure. Welkinrim aims to partnerships with drone manufacturers at India and abroad.

“While this investment continues to focus on performance, performance, efficiency and security, Dinesh Natarajan, the founder and CEO of Welkinrim, will help us to put our drive subsystems from laboratory to market,” he said.

Campus Angels Network General Manager K.Chandran said, “We believe that Welkinrim is well positioned for the incidence solutions of Drone as the drone accelerates the drone adopting sectors.”
