India Rejects NATO Chief’s ‘Modi Called Putin For Ukraine Plan’ Remark, Calls It ‘Entirely Baseless’ | India News

New Delhi: On Friday, India categorically rejected the latest statements made by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, and rejected the claim that the US tariffs imposed by the United States encouraged India to question Russia about the Ukrainian strategy. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MEA) stated that there was no such discussion and called on the NATO chief to pay more attention in the future.
Mea scolded Rutte for claiming that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was directly talking to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the subject.
Mea, “NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte’nin Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Vladimir Putin’dan a statement about a phone call. The statement is actually wrong and completely unfounded. President Putin was not spoken in any way proposed.” He said.

“We expect the leadership of an important and respected institution such as NATO to use more responsibilities and accuracy in public statements. Speculative or careless explanations, which misrepresent the prime minister’s participation or propose never to take place before, are more important for the foreseeable and affordable energy costs for the foreseement of India’s entire drug.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, speaking with CNN on the sides of the United Nations General Assembly in New York on Thursday, claimed that US President Donald Trump’s tariffs to India significantly affected Russia. He also claimed that the new Delhi was in contact with President Putin and said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was negatively affected by India’s tariffs and announced that he wanted to clarify his strategy in Ukraine.
In contrast, India called on Rutte to pay more attention in public statements and expressed the hope that the NATO chief would act more responsible in the future.
“We expect the leadership of an important institution such as NATO to use more responsibility and accuracy in public statements. Speculative or careless explanations that misrepresent the participation of the Prime Minister or propose speeches that never occur.” He said.
“As mentioned earlier, India’s energy imports aim to provide predictable and affordable energy prices for Indian consumers.
