Man who died after falling from hot air balloon in West Sussex is named

A man who died after falling from the hot air balloon in the West Sussex was chosen.

33 -year -old Jesus Lato Garzon was one of the 16 passengers on the Virgin Balloon flight he bought.

Last Friday morning, he departed from Billingshurshst in West Sussex, which was affiliated to Dunsfold in Surrey.

Sussex police said that Wisborough Green fell around 9.20 in the morning near Newpound Common. A large search operation was initiated with drones, civil servants on the ground and police dogs. More than four hours, Mr. Garzon’s body was discovered in a nearby area.

An investigation into his death is scheduled to open in West Sussex Coroner’s Court on September 30th. His family was informed and receives support.

Last week, Detective Sergeant Elaine Keating said: “This is a tragic event and our thoughts are going to the man’s family on the flight. We offer expert support for them. The man’s death is not treated as a suspicious and we are completing an investigation on behalf of Coroner.”

Virgin balloon flights operating from sites in the south of England, Dunsfold’daki spare areas for the north and southern outputs for trips to operate flights.

The company said in a statement: “We were very upset to verify a passenger incident on Friday morning.

“Our thoughts are first of all with the family of the individual in this incredibly difficult time. We also deeply pay attention to the experience of all relevant passengers, and their welfare and minds continue to be a priority.

“We ask that the welfare and safety of our passengers and the people is always our greatest concern, and we are respected.”

Mr. Garzon’s death is the subject of a police investigation in the name of Coroner.
