Cancer hospital meeting shows how vital next step of our patient care campaign is | UK | News

Mental health is the most important side effect of cancer treatment, but fortunately, most patients do not need high -level support for psychologists.

Instead, what they all need is that medical teams recognize this side effects and help them cope by monitoring how their patients feel and directing them to appropriate places.

For example, instead of the need to see a psychologist who feels lonely, he can get better results by joining a support group of people passing the same thing, and someone who stresses to pay his bills is better than seeing a benefit consultant.

In the coming weeks, I plan to write to people who suffer from cancer to the chief managers of every hospital trust that asks all these patients to have mental health support during and after treatment.

Considering my experience this week, I will summarize what it actually means, so they can’t just say, “We’re good because we have psychologists.”
