Forest dept. flags AI-generated videos of Dasara elephants

The Forest Department called on the people to be careful against the videos of Dasara elephants produced by AII and was afraid of such a possibility.

In a version, Forest Prabhugud’s deputy conservator, responsible for Dasara elephants, said that they noticed their attempts to create such videos using AI technology to mislead the public.

“It is a matter of pride for the Dasara Festival Mysuru and it is unnecessary panic to upload such videos to social media to mix people during the festival,” he said.

Prabhugoud, who eliminates fears, said that all elephants participating in the Naada Habba Dasara Festival were experienced and that the Forest Department, the Police Department and the Regional Administration have taken all precautionary measures to ensure public security.

In order to carry out the festival smoothly, he requested cooperation from all departments of the society, including the media.
