92-year-old Idaho man allegedly traveled to Utah to kill family members over inheritance dispute

Layton, Utah (ABC4) -92-year-old Idaho man was arrested in Utah after traveling on the state lines with the plan to kill his nephew and his nephew’s wife.

92 -year -old Billy J Nevills was arrested for two murder attempts. It has not yet been officially accused.

According to the arrest statement, on September 28, 2025, Nevills went to Utah from his residence in ID, Twin Falls. Allegedly, he would later tell the researchers that he was looking for his nephew’s house to kill him and he was looking for his nephew’s house.

Layton City Police Department found Nevills in Layton on the morning of September 29th and was detained. It is unclear how it is currently. ABC4.com reached the police for more information about the arrest, but has not yet heard.

During an interview with the police, the 92 -year -old child announced that he wanted to kill and publish two of them on a family confidence. Nevills, when his wife passed away, his wife’s sister should inherit the property of his sister, he said. Nevills was arrested and reserved for Davis District Prison, where he was currently held without bail.
