For the publisher of the mail, lawyers argued that a part of the claim should be thrown because they contained illegal information gathering or “general” allegations related to other newspaper groups.

Antony White KC said that only “certain examples” “clearly defined factual problems should allow a fair and proportional manner.”

“In a few cases, it is unclear that the relevant targeting is made in the name of AnL, because the pleading is collected on the allegation that the relevant journalist worked in Mirror Group newspapers and/or news newspapers newspapers.”

Mr. Sherborne said that the proposal of throwing some of the claim was largely “unreasonable and unjustly late” and should be rejected.

CT It appeared in 2022 The prince and others, some of the allegations to court based on decimal years ago.

The publisher, claims that the allegations were brought “too late” in 2023 could not remove the case.

For the plaintiffs, lawyers have successfully defended that new evidence emerged and did not know how information was secretly acquired.

AnL’s lawyers have rejected the allegations called “insults” to the hard -working journalists whose lawyers have previously been “foundation” and their reputation underestimated.

AnL spokesman said that “journalists have” rejected the information derived from telephone hacking, telephone touch, error, computer or e -mail hacking or theft.
