Texans star C.J. Stroud admits his athleticism has dipped since high school

Houston Texans Game Course CJ Stroud played less than three seasons at NFL.
Stroud celebrated his 24th birthday on Friday and seems to be experiencing the bad effects of playing in the league. On Thursday, Stroud was asked about the methods he included in his daily regime, which helped him remain optimal physical.
Stroud later talked about his diet and remained consistent with exercise. However, when he compared his current athletic ability to his days as a high school football star, he raised some eyebrows.

Stroud, while determining that he has taken steps in his diet and stress, he believes that he lost one step.
“I think explosion is better in my diet, to be better with stretching. “I was watching my high school items a few days ago. I was like 180 (pound) and I was rolling, but not anymore. But yes, I’m trying to be better with these things to run fast.”

Stroud, the second general election in the 2022 NFL Draft, is listed as 220 pounds, which earns 40 pounds of high school weight.

Although Stroud’s decline in athletics is controversial, the production of the young signal call has fallen since the rookie season.
This season, Stroud scored four goals and scored three interventions. 2024 finished with 3,727 transition yard, 20 goals and 12 interventions.

Stroud’s rookie season ended with 4,108 transition yard, 23 goals and five interventions. Texas people went to playoffs in each of the first two seasons of Stroud.
Houston enters the 5th week with a record of 1-3. Texans visits Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.
