New Delhi: Rumors in social media claim that a large comet is directly to the Earth. Although some users define it as an existential threat, others propose ways to mislead or emphasize the so -called military actions that are preparing to cut.
The object in question is known as 3i/Atlas. It was detected on 1 July 2025 by NASA’s Atlas Telescope. Online publications claim that it is progressing at incredible speeds and may affect humanity.

The New York Post published a story titled on September 29: “Massive ‘Horning against us can be a larger, alien technology than he thought before, and Scientist says:’ It can change everything for us’.”
The screenshots of the article quickly spread to X (formerly twitter).

Dr Dislivace, another account, shared the story and said, “That’s why all generals are gathering!” He added. He referred to the meeting of the 30 September US military leaders under the chairmanship of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.

Why some suggest that it is an alien technology
The rumors claimed that 3i/Atlas was a spacecraft, not a comet, but a spacecraft. Lord Bebo shared the wrong attributed statements to the physicist Michio Kaku, and claimed that it could be a discovery mission. These claims did not accompany any evidence.
What do the facts say
Al Jazeera’s real control agency Sanad confirmed the information. 3i/Atlas is an interstellar comet. NASA confirms that it does not pose any danger to the world. The closest approach was about 270 million kilometers (167.8 million miles) on July 21st.
ESA, emphasizing the comet, the distance between the Earth and the Sun remained more than 2.5 times.
The comet will reach approximately 210 million km (130.5 million miles) in the orbit of Mars on October 30th.
3i/Atlas is large and fast. The Hubble Space Telescope reported that it moved about 210,000 km/h (130,500 miles/hour), the fastest speed recorded for an interstellar object. The seed varies by 440 m (440 m) and 5.6 km (5.6 km) in diameter.
NASA calls a rare opportunity to examine a visitor beyond the solar system. Hubble’s ongoing observations help to predict the size more accurately.
