Man, 40s, dead after boat collides with yacht on Sydney’s Parramatta River

A boat died after hitting an anchored bed anchored from a sought sydney suburb.
In the Parramat River in Wybalena RD, the collision was first reported at 19.40 on Sunday.
Officers, the driver and passenger before leaving the scene, the boat fell to a yacht anchored in the river.
Police said the iron bed sank due to damage to the accident.
Shortly thereafter, an property in Herbton Ave in Hunters Hill was called for emergency services three minutes from the scene.
Medical officials treated the driver of the boat, a man in his 40s and a 25 -year -old female passenger at the scene.
The couple was then taken to the Royal North Shore Hospital.
Shortly after 22:00, the police were told that the man died in the hospital.
Since then, the police have launched an investigation into the conditions surrounding the accident with a report to be prepared for Coroner’s information.
