‘She’s not Madeleine McCann: ‘Polish Maddie’ breaks down in tears as she goes on trial accused of stalking Gerry and Kate
Madeleine McCann’ın claiming to be missing a Polish woman, a court said that she was not a missing child, drowned in tears.
24 -year -old Julia Wandelt was accused of following Madeleine’s parents on Monday. He appeared in Leicester Crown Court with 61 -year -old Karen Spragg of Caerau.
Two women are accused of following Kate and Gerry McCann, and between June 1 and February 21, 2025, they cause ‘serious alarm or distress’.
Wandelt is in custody, Spragg is with conditional bail.
From June 2022, the court heard that Wandelt was trying to convince everyone who was ready to listen to Madeleine McCann.
Prosecutor Micheal Duck Kc said that Wandelt followed the legend of ‘Madeleine McCann’ for a period of three years, and Kate and Gerry ‘electronic communication, direct telephone conversations, visited their villages and finally visited home addresses’.
Mr. Duck said to the jury: ‘The following had to be taken to Poland, where he lived with people who claimed to have natural birth parents for almost three years’.
He also claimed that he had memories because he was ‘kidnapping style’ and Madeleine.
Mr. Duck said that McCann said that he grew up in his house and that Madeleine recalled that he had interacted with his young twin brothers Sean and Amelie.
He also remembered that he is a part of family activities and very private family activities.
‘It may seem attractive to think that this has some reliability measure, but we can clarify it at this very early stage: Julia Wandelt Madeleine McCann.’
At this point, Wandelt drowned in tears and wanted to leave the dock.
