Quebec | Death of a 71-year-old motorcyclist in the Saint-Roch district

A 71-year-old motorcyclist died on Monday evening after a collision involving a heavy vehicle in the Saint-Roch district, in Quebec.
According to the Quebec City Police Service (SPVQ), the emergency services were called upon to intervene around 12:30 p.m. near the intersection of the Saint-Paul and Saint-Nicolas streets for a collision involving a heavy vehicle and a motorcycle.
The motorcycle driver was then found on the spot with critical injuries. His death was later noted in the evening. The driver of the heavy vehicle would not have suffered any injuries.
A perimeter has been erected in the sector for the needs of the survey. Investigators and technicians of the judicial identification unit were moved to the scene to determine the circumstances of the collision.
