Australian Gaza flotilla activists allege abuse by Israeli authorities in DFAT statements

Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir mocked the detained fleet crew members and called them terrorists. The Minister also toured the fleet boats, claiming that they did not actually carry humanitarian aid.

In June, Ben-Gvir was one of the two ministers in the Israeli government with sanctions made by Australia and other Western countries.
