Am I eligible for a Covid vaccine in 2025?

A “An important change üzerinde in the Covid-19 vaccine was not sure who could take the members of the people in this autumn.

According to the UK Health Safety Agency (UKHSA), conformity criteria recorded those who have the highest risk of serious illness this year.

This means that the Covid-19 vaccine will be presented to the following address in NHS:

  • Adults 75 years and older
  • Residents in care homes for elderly adults
  • Individuals with a six -month and weak immune system.

Some of the groups under the immunosuppressive category are organs, bone marrow or stem cell transplantation patients, people living with HIV, people with chemotherapy or radiotherapy and people in systemic steroids more than a month – but those who are not sure should consult their doctors.

People other than these groups can pay specially if they wish.

Last year, the criteria included adults aged 65 years and older. Compliance is the same in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

However, although not appropriate, the NHS reservation system was fluctuated through patient groups who managed to make an online appointment.

Through the online system, it is understood that the option to reserve both Covid and flu vaccines at the same time may cause uncertainty.

NHS has a wider group of people for Grip Jab:

  • Adults aged 65 and over (including 65 years old until March 31, 2026)
  • Those with certain long -term health conditions
  • pregnant women
  • Residents in a care house
  • People who are the main caregivers of an elderly or disabled person or who receive the allowance of a caregiver
  • People who live with someone with a weak immune system

Frontsine health and social care workers can also receive flu vaccine through employers.

Pharmacists emphasized how some people can make an appointment for a COVİD-19 JAB when not suitable for vaccination.

The National Pharmacy Association (NPA) described the situation as “deeply frustrating için for both patients and pharmacists.

Henry Gregg, General Manager of NPA, said, uz We are aware of the reports from all over the country of patients who are not suitable for NHS for the Covid vaccine that comes to pharmacies this year and can make an appointment through online system.

“This should be preventive and deeply frustrating for both pharmacies and patients. In this case, we urge any patient to treat the pharmacy teams respectfully while pharmacies try to manage new NHS clinical criteria.

“We urgently brought this problem with NHS UK and the Ministry of Health and we wanted it to be solved as soon as possible.”

A NHS spokesman said: “COVİD-19 Vaccine suitability changed to people aged 75 years and older to people with a weak immune system or to live in older adult care houses.

“Please check twice that you are suitable for receiving a COVİD-19 vaccine before booking.
