Hundreds of flights delayed at Hartsfield-Jackson on Saturday morning

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport after full storms and hours of a stance that lasts, thousands of people are stranded on Saturday morning.

According to Flight Tracker Flight Field, 408 flights have been canceled on Saturday and 213 have been postponed.

Atlanta -based Delta Air Lines confirmed that more than 90 flights have been directed or delayed due to intense storm, wind and full on Friday night.

They also said that technicians were working to complete their full inspections on approximately 100 aircraft during the night. Almost all will return to service on Saturday.

FAA confirmed that the air traffic control tower at the airport should be evacuated on Friday night due to strong winds. Some controllers remained in the tower to continue operations.

All this comes during the intense four July travel period, when airport officials estimate that more than 4 million people will pass through Hartsfield-Jackson.
