Two farmers paint St George’s Cross on cows to ‘back British farming’ | UK | News

The two farmers wave the flag of the agricultural sector after drawing the St George cross on the herds of cows. 30 -year -old Ed Bunning and 26 -year -old Sarah Mottershead, Bridgnorth, Shropshire, near his farms on their cattle squeezed the red England flag.
The drivers in front of their fields in Quatt are now standing regularly and taking pictures of the patriotic herd with Scottish meat cows. Bay Mottershead, who had 200 cows on the farm, said: “We did this to support British farming. We had so hard times in recent times that farming is becoming more and more difficult with the new succession tax.
“I thought there were many flags on the electric poles around the country, so I thought of giving a look to the cows.
“I made too many people stop and take pictures.
“There is a little fun, but there is a serious message that caused a few smiles. Being a farmer has never been as difficult as it is now.”
He added that the spray used is an animal -friendly and non -toxic paint.
Ed said: “It is completely harmless to cows, and they don’t care about it.
“I wanted to give the message that we were on the same ship to all British farmers.”
