Rolls-Royce CEO Tufan Erginbilgic aims to make ‘India as home’ market; plans to build in-country — Here’s what he said

British Defense and Automatic Giant Rolls-Royce CEO (CEO) Tufan Erginbiljik said that on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, the company aims to develop India as a ‘home’ market and to establish strategic partnerships in line with the vision of ‘Vikitis Bharat’.
Rolls-Royce CEO stressed that the company is trying to get a competitive advantage in the development of technologies with air, land and SEA applications.
Tufan Erginbiljik also emphasized that the company aims to create ‘domestic capabilities’ in the country in the midst of the expansion of the Indian market and to establish partnerships in the country.

Erginbilgic’s visit to India is part of the delegation of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. Starmer supported the comments of Rolls-Royce CEO and said that the company was a symbol of ‘British excellence’ and said that they could build a better future for both countries.
