Former Penn State football player faces DUI charges in girlfriend’s death

A former Penn State football player is facing charges related to an ATV crash in May that injured him and killed his girlfriend.
Julian Fleming, 24, and Alyssa Boyd, 23, were driving on a rural road in Bradford County near the Pennsylvania-New York border when they hit a deer the night of May 22, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Documents received by TMZ SportsHowever, he stated that shortly after the crash, Fleming’s blood alcohol level was 0.118.

Fleming was charged with vehicular homicide, DUI and aggravated vehicular assault.
“In my view, the prosecution here had a tragic and inevitable accident and turned it into a crime when the facts didn’t support it,” Fleming’s attorney, David Bahuriak, said in a statement to TMZ Sports. he said. “The facts do not support criminal homicide.”
Neither Fleming nor Boyd were wearing safety equipment, police said. Voice of Citizens.

Fleming was a standout wide receiver who played. Ohio State Buckeyes From 2020 to 2024. He committed to Ohio State after being a standout at Southern Columbia High School in Pennsylvania. He was the state’s No. 1 prospect in 2020.
He transferred to Penn State before the 2024 season to complete his NCAA eligibility.
He played in 16 games for the Nittany Lions last season. He had 14 catches for 176 yards and a touchdown. He had 79 catches for 963 yards and seven touchdowns in 38 career games at Ohio State.
Fleming signed Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent. However, his contract was terminated when he failed in his physical intervention with the team.

Police said Boyd was “seriously injured” in the crash. New York Postand died at the scene. He was a student at the University of Alabama.
