Morrisons introduces new ‘30 items’ rule in 420 UK stores this October | UK | News

Morrisons is introducing a new ’30 items’ rule across 420 stores in the UK this October as part of its new delivery service.

The supermarket’s new ‘Morrisons Now’ service will allow customers to order up to 30 items and have them delivered straight to their door in as little as an hour. The quick meal service is currently available in 158 stores in the UK via the Morrisons website, with full rollout to 420 stores nationwide due to be completed by the end of October. Morrisons said the service was designed for speed and convenience and was designed to help shoppers sort out forgotten items, last-minute requests or welcome surprise guests. Customers who live close to one of the 158 stores where the service is currently live will now be able to order up to 30 items by selecting Morrisons Now from the Morrisons website or via the Morrisons Groceries app.

The supermarket chain says the service brings together all the benefits of a Morrisons.com account “into one seamless experience”, allowing customers to get what they need in just 60 minutes.

Customers can shop from their favorite addresses, use ‘Instant Shopping’ to quickly create their orders, and have all their addresses and payment details saved and ready to use.

Once the order is placed, customers can track the order from store to door in real time, with delivery carried out by one of Morrison’s trusted delivery partners on a courier bike or car.

As an added bonus, shoppers can continue to earn More Card points and access Morrison’s More Card promotions as always.

Charlotte Exell, Group Online Director at Morrisons, said: “We are delighted to offer this service to our customers across the country and support them with fresh food delivered quickly.

“We know life is busy and Morrisons Now is here to make everyday moments easier and deliver what you need in as little as an hour.”

Morrisons said the new service is the latest step in its commitment to convenience and customer service, offering shoppers more ways to quickly access fresh, high-quality food.

The new service is now available in 158 stores with a £4.50 delivery fee and a minimum order value of £15. Morrisons Now will be operational in 420 stores by the end of October.
