Motorist killed after school van rams into his two-wheeler in Bengaluru

A 23-year-old man died after a private school minibus crashed into his two-wheeler on Balagere-Panathur Road in Bengaluru on Friday, October 10, 2025. The deceased was identified as local resident Chiranjeevi.

According to the police, the incident took place when the school minibus, which was reportedly speeding, hit Chiranjeevi’s two-wheeler from behind, causing him to fall on the road and die on the spot. The minibus then crashed into a lamppost.

There were many school children on board at the time of the accident; However, police officials confirmed that all of them escaped unhurt.

Initial investigations determined that the minibus driver was speeding and lost control of the vehicle.

While the driver was taken into custody, the investigation continues to determine the exact cause of the accident.
