Celebrate harvest and Halloween at London’s St Katharine Docks | Travel News | Travel

Celebrate Halloween, harvest and half term in spectacular style at London’s St Katharine Docks marina, just east of the super spooky Tower of London. The historic waterfront property invites families to celebrate the season by transforming it into a vibrant pumpkin paradise.
From Monday, October 27 through Saturday, November 1, the Coronarium and its beautiful outdoor terrace will be decked out in autumnal splendor with a dazzling display of pumpkins of all shapes and sizes surrounded by colorful foliage. Visitors can browse and purchase pumpkins, choosing from a variety of varieties to take home or sculpt on-site. For this occasion, the Coronarium’s upper deck is being transformed into a special carving station. Armed with specialist tools and plenty of creative inspiration, families can enjoy panoramic views of the historic marina bordering the River Thames as they transform their chosen pumpkins into spooky lanterns, cheerful faces or intricate designs.
The stations will provide everything carvers need for a successful pumpkin transformation, whether they are beginners or seasoned professionals. A pop-up cart serving up all your favorite fall drinks (think hot chocolate and pumpkin lattes) will also be on hand throughout the week.
Coronarium’s transformation into an autumnal wonderland will create a relaxed, festive atmosphere and create the feeling of being worlds away from the bustling city, although it is actually in the very heart of London and close to Tower Hill station. Located next to some of London’s most iconic landmarks, St Katharine Docks offers a stunning setting for an unforgettable family outing. After carving up pumpkins and enjoying seasonal treats, families can explore the historic marina with its collection of boats, have lunch or dinner at one of the waterfront restaurants, or simply stroll along the picturesque harborfront. https://www.skdocks.co.uk/visit or https://www.instagram.com/stkatsdocks
