JJ Watt hilariously roasted his appearance during Wisconsin media day in 2008

NFL legend JJ Watt took the opportunity to roast himself during the CBS broadcast of the Week 6 game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns on Sunday.

The broadcast included a photo of Watt in the trenches with the Wisconsin Badgers. The photo shown was from Wisconsin media day in 2008. He was unable to play that season after transferring to the school from Central Michigan.

Play-by-play broadcaster Ian Eagle asked Watt “What exactly was going on?” he asked.

“Oh my God! I was fat and had something weird about my facial hair. … (I didn’t know) how to tie a tie. I have a chin tie,” Watt said. “That’s a bad look. I’ve got a lot of Mickies Dairy Bars on my body.”

Watt played two seasons with the Badgers, recording 11.5 sacks in 26 games. He entered the NFL Draft after the 2010 season, and the Houston Texans made him the 11th overall pick.

He has become one of the greatest players in Texas history and will likely become a Hall of Famer when he becomes eligible.

For now, Watt’s voice can be heard on the CBS broadcast. Sunday wasn’t the only time his appearance was mentioned this season. The former defensive lineman debuted a new hairstyle. CBS called it “furry and killer.”

Meanwhile, Aaron Rodgers had 235 passing yards and two touchdowns and the Steelers defeated the Browns 23-9. DK Metcalf and Connor Heyward scored.
