IRCTC has launched a 10-day religious tour called ‘Sri Rameswaram-Tirupati Dakshin Darshan Yatra’ covering the major pilgrimage sites of South India. Leaving Nasik on 7 November 2025, the all-inclusive package includes travel, meals, accommodation and guided temple visits.
The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced a new religious tourism package under the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train initiative. Titled “Sri Rameswaram”–Tirupati Dakshin Darshan Yatra”, the 10-day spiritual journey promises a comprehensive tour of South India’s most iconic pilgrimage sites and cultural landmarks.
The tour, which is planned to start from Nasik on 7 November 2025, will last 9 nights and 10 days and will end on 16 November 2025. This spiritual expedition offers a carefully planned itinerary that aims to provide devotees and spiritual seekers with a deep dive into the sacred traditions and architectural wonders of South India.
Holy stops in South India
The journey begins with a visit to Tirupati, one of the most visited pilgrimage places in India, where participants will discover the revered Lord. Venkateswara Swamy Temple and Goddess Padmavati Temple.
From there the train goes to Rameswaram, an important destination on the Char Dham pilgrimage tour. Devotees will get the opportunity to visit celebrities Ramanathaswamy Temple and spiritually important Dhanushkodi.
The next stop is Madurai, home to the awe-inspiring Meenakshi Amman Temple, known for its towering gopurams and intricate sculptures, hallmarks of classical Dravidian architecture.
travelers It will then proceed to Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of India where the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal and Indian Ocean meet. Major tourist attractions here include Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Gandhi Mandapam and Kanyakumari Temple.
